On December 26 in Kazan, the awards ceremony for the winners of the Republican contest "Young Rationalizer and Inventor of the Republic of Tatarstan" and the Republican enterprise and organization rating contest of the Republic of Tatarstan "Potential of the Republic" was held. The solemn event took place at the Museum of Revolutionary, Military and Labor Glory of the Federal State Unitary Enterprise "Kazan State-Owned Gunpowder Plant". The ceremony was attended by the Minister of Youth Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan, Azat Kadyrov, who noted the significant role of young specialists in the development of the republic's industrial, scientific and innovative potential.
The Republican contest "Young Rationalizer and Inventor of the Republic of Tatarstan" is conducted by the Ministry of Youth Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan in cooperation with the Society of Inventors and Rationalizers of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Union of Youth of Enterprises and Organizations of the Republic of Tatarstan. Its main goal is to raise the prestige of technical creativity, support and stimulate the innovative activity of youth, as well as to form a professional community of young rationalizers and inventors.
In 2025 the contest started on August 13 and included three stages of competitive selection and expert evaluation. As a result, 12 enterprises of the republic nominated 28 young inventors with 59 intellectual property items and 121 rationalizers with 742 rationalization proposals. The combined economic effect from the implementation of technical solutions involving young specialists amounted to more than 1.5 billion rubles, and the expected effect exceeds 7 billion rubles.
Young specialists from enterprises such as PJSC "Tatneft" named after V. D. Shashin, PJSC "KAMAZ", LLC "Gazprom Transgaz Kazan", JSC "Tatenergo" and JSC "Network Company" took an active part in the competition.
Within the framework of the event, the results of the Republican rating contest "Potential of the Republic", aimed at the development and implementation of state youth policy at enterprises and organizations of Tatarstan, were also summarized. Eighteen enterprises and organizations of the republic took part in the contest; they were evaluated in five nominations depending on the number of employees.
Azat Kadyrov, Minister of Youth Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan, emphasized that such contests create real conditions for the professional self-realization of young people, help retain young personnel at enterprises and form a stable human resources potential for the region, which corresponds to the goals of the national project "Youth and Children".
The Ministry of Youth Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan will continue systematic work to support talented, initiative and technically oriented young people who contribute to the socio-economic development of the republic.
