Monthly payment: who is eligible to receive it in Tatarstan

      Some categories of residents of Tatarstan are entitled to receive a monthly cash payment. Its amount is determined depending on the reason for its award. Who exactly is eligible for this measure of support is detailed in the Tatar‑inform piece.

      Who is entitled to the monthly payment

      - citizens with a recognized disability;

      - participants in combat operations;

      - relatives of deceased combatants;

      - persons who, while minors, were held in fascist concentration camps during the Great Patriotic War;

      - citizens affected by radiation exposure as a result of man‑made accidents or nuclear tests;

      - Heroes of the USSR and the Russian Federation, Heroes of Socialist Labour and Heroes of Labour of the Russian Federation, as well as full recipients of the Orders of Glory and Labour Glory.

      If a citizen is entitled to receive the payment on several grounds provided for by the same law, the financial support will be granted under only one of them — the one that provides the largest payment.

      If, however, the grounds for granting the payments are established in different legislative acts, the citizen may independently choose on which basis he will receive the monthly cash payment.
