      The official opening of the winter sports season took place in Mamadysh. The ski resort, previously known as the youngest venue in Tatarstan, has been given the unified name "Vyatka" — after the river on whose bank it is located. Under the new brand, the entire infrastructure and three modern runs have been united.

      An important change was the transfer of the resort to the management of a private investor, who views "Vyatka" as an all-season recreation center. As part of a five-year development plan, additional rental points, restaurants, chalets and hotels are planned to open here. The management emphasizes a democratic pricing policy and the intention to develop social projects.

      The head of the district, Vadim Nikitin, who visited the opening, assessed the condition of the slopes and the safety measures. This season the resort's operations are fully streamlined: the artificial snowmaking system has provided a stable cover, the T-bar lift operates steadily, and the facility is ready to accommodate up to 5,000 visitors a day. The resort was built as part of the national project "Infrastructure for Life."
