During five days of holiday celebrations in Tatarstan, two people died in fires.
During the five days of the New Year holidays in Tatarstan there were 57 fires, in which two people died. This was reported to Tatar-inform by the Main Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations for the Republic of Tatarstan.
From December 31 to January 4 the fires harmed the health of three residents of the republic, and four others were rescued. In addition, five people were injured while using pyrotechnics.
The main causes of the fires during the holidays were: violations of the rules for the technical operation of electrical equipment, careless handling of fire, improper construction and malfunctioning of heating stoves and chimneys.
