Public oversight: fewer complaints, higher quality. How residents' behavior and the system's operation have changed
The People's Control appeals system in Tatarstan remains one of the most in-demand tools for addressing everyday and social problems. Residents report issues related to public-space improvement, road conditions, the operation of clinics, kindergartens and other city services. The system helps not only to record problems but to ensure they are resolved. Over the entire period of operation, 743,818 requests have been published. On average 246 appeals are received daily. The most active audience of the service is citizens aged 25 to 34.
A comparison of 2024 and 2025 shows important dynamics:
In 2024, 92 thousand appeals were received, an average of 275 requests per day. In 2025, more than 86 thousand appeals were received. This means that residents began to complain less, as many issues started to be resolved systematically and occur less frequently.
Residents' priorities remain stable. Territory improvement leads. In 2025, 26.2 thousand such appeals were submitted, compared with 27.5 thousand in 2024. Next come road maintenance and repairs: 16.6 thousand appeals in 2025 versus 14.6 thousand a year earlier. The number of appeals regarding traffic management, outdoor lighting and building maintenance has increased. This indicates that residents are becoming more attentive to the quality of the urban environment and safety.
The service is developing not only quantitatively but also functionally. In 2025, integration with the Feedback Platform was implemented, and new categories under the Safety direction were added to the system, which have become a tool in the fight against drug propaganda and financial fraud.
Further plans include comprehensive modernization of the system, improving the routing of appeals and reducing review times. Submission of requests in all categories next year will be through ESIA authorization.
We also remind you that for issues of snow removal, the condition of courtyards and adjacent territories, residents can contact People's Control.
