A photo exhibition, "Father of a Hero," opens in Almetyevsk, dedicated to participants of the special military operation and their families.

      In January 2026, a socially significant project called "Father of a Hero" will be implemented in Almetyevsk. Its goal is to create a photographic chronicle of memory and respect by telling about the bond between fathers and sons who are fulfilling their duty within the framework of the special military operation.

      The project tells not only about the sons-heroes, but also about the fathers whose support, life wisdom and values became their pillars. Through portraits and family stories, the organizers want to show the continuity of generations, the power of parental example and the depth of family ties.

      As clarified by the district administration, participation in the project is free. To take part in the photoshoot, applicants must send the organizers information about the family: the father's surname, given name and patronymic (and, if consenting, his position or occupation); the son's surname, given name and patronymic with the wording "participant in the special military operation"; a brief family history of 3–5 sentences; information about the son's achievements within the special military operation; and a photograph of the son, preferably in military uniform.

      Photoshoots will take place at the School of Creative Industries at: Almetyevsk, 68 Gafiyatullina St. Filming is scheduled for January 13, 14, 15, 17, 20, 21, 22, 24, 27, 28, 29 and 31, 2026. The photo studio will be open from 12:00 to 14:00.

      The project will culminate in a photo exhibition featuring portraits of fathers holding photographs of their sons. The exhibition will be an emotional statement about duty, love for the Motherland, the continuity of generations and family values.
