The Students' Spartakiad of the Republic of Tatarstan in cross-country skiing concluded in Zainsk.
From January 7 to 11, large-scale competitions took place at the Yalta-Zay Sports Training Center in the city of Zainsk — the Spartakiad of Students of the Republic of Tatarstan in cross-country skiing among boys and girls born in 2008–2009. These competitions are the I stage of the XIII Winter Spartakiad of Students (youth) of Russia 2026.
Over five days on the ski tracks of Zainsk, young athletes from various towns and districts of the republic battled for the title of the strongest in three disciplines, demonstrating endurance, speed and will to win. The competitions were an important season opener and made it possible to identify candidates for the formation of the Republic of Tatarstan’s team for the all-Russian stage of the Spartakiad.
