      By the end of 2025, the average amount of a cash loan requested by residents of Tatarstan amounted to 1.2 million rubles. This is the highest figure in the country.

      The Republic of Tatarstan took first place among all regions of Russia in the average size of requested cash loans in 2025. According to data cited by TASS, referring to materials from the press service of "Finuslugi", this figure in the republic amounted to 1.2 million rubles, which is the maximum value in the country. For comparison, the average cash loan amount for Russia as a whole was 730 thousand rubles. Second place after Tatarstan was Moscow with a figure of 1.1 million rubles, and third was the Moscow Region, where borrowers requested an average of 959.9 thousand rubles. At the opposite end of the ranking were the regions with the smallest amounts: in Stavropol Krai the average request was 268 thousand rubles, in Altai Krai — 506 thousand rubles, and in Kemerovo Oblast — 529 thousand rubles. According to the service's data, the average term for which Russians took loans in 2025 was 3.2 years. The average age of a borrower was 37 years. More than 46 percent of them had higher education. Gender distribution among credit applicants showed a significant predominance of men: their share was 67.4 percent, while women made up 32.6 percent of applicants. Earlier it was reported that five residents of Kazan will be tried for illegally cashing more than 6 billion rubles. The total established damage from the unlawful activity exceeded 67 million rubles.
