       The republic continues to carry out work on the audit of existing water intakes. Currently, specialists have surveyed 4,033 wells in the territory of 43 districts of Tatarstan.

       In Tatarstan, large-scale work is underway to find new sources of drinking water to meet the needs of the residents of the republic. This strategic project is being implemented on the instructions of the President of the Republic, Rustam Minnikhanov. As part of this work, back in 2022, the republic took an important step – it acquired a high-tech drilling rig URB based on KamAZ. This equipment allows specialists from "NPO Geocenter RT" to begin the active phase of exploratory work in the territory of the Tetyushsky district this year. Near the settlements of Lyubimovka and Zelenovka, the first drilling operations have already been conducted, which can provide clean water to more than 11,000 residents of the district. As noted by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Tatarstan, drilling is just part of a comprehensive approach. For maximum accuracy of the research, modern geophysical equipment SKALA 48K12 is used, allowing the identification of promising aquifers through methods of electrical exploration in the field. According to "Tatar-inform," Tatarstan has become the first region in Russia to conduct a full-scale audit of all water intakes. Specialists have already surveyed 4,033 wells in 43 municipal districts – this is an unprecedented scale of monitoring. The work is being carried out as part of the republican program "Environmental Protection," fully aligned with the goals of the national project "Ecological Well-Being." After the completion of the research, specialists will determine the exact depths of occurrence and reserves of groundwater, which will allow for the creation of a reliable water supply system.
