       The content of the school curriculum in the Republic of Tatarstan has been updated: there are more hours for history, a new course on local history is being introduced, and communication between schools and parents will gradually transition to a secure messenger.

      

       A comprehensive set of changes aimed at modernizing the educational process is being implemented in Tatarstan schools. Key innovations include the redistribution of hours in favor of history, the launch of a multi-level career guidance program, and the transition to the national communication platform MAX. At the same time, the volume of teaching native languages remains unchanged, reports "Tatar-inform".More hours for studying history and local historyShifting focus: the subject "Social Studies" will now be studied from the 9th grade, which has allowed for an increase in history hours to 476 (136 more than before). A new course "History of Our Region" has been added to the curriculum for students in grades 5-7: more attention will be paid to the ethnocultural traditions of Tatarstan. Specialists have already developed a special textbook that integrates elements of spiritual and moral education into its content.Career guidance and digital transformationStarting from September 1, all schools in the republic will switch to a basic or advanced model of career guidance for grades 6-11 (40-80 hours per year). The program is planned to include visits to various enterprises, professional fairs, as well as the establishment of specialized classes in various subject areas. This decision is aimed at reducing the workload on specialists and will also allow for the early detection of destructive behavior among students.
