       This trend is observed despite the stagnation of prices across the country as a whole. According to experts, the number of offers for the sale of apartments in Kazan has increased by 3.3%.

       Kazan has become the second most expensive city in Russia for purchasing an apartment in a new building, second only to Moscow, but surpassing St. Petersburg. According to a study by Yandex Real Estate, the median price per square meter in the capital of Tatarstan has reached 243 thousand rubles, reports "Real Time". Meanwhile, the average cost of an entire apartment in the city's new buildings already exceeds 13 million rubles. Experts attribute this price increase to the revival of the market following the reduction of the key rate. "Against the backdrop of the start of the reduction of the key rate, the residential real estate market began to revive already in mid-summer, with the most affordable lots traditionally being the first to be taken off the market, which influenced the growth of the median price in the showcase of megacities. In all megacities where the median price per square meter rose in September, we observe a reduction in the volume of available offers," clarifies the commercial director of the service, Evgeny Belokurov. Leading in Russia in the cost per square meter in new buildings is Moscow. Here, the price per square meter of housing is 478 thousand rubles. Next is Kazan, followed by St. Petersburg (294 thousand rubles/sq.m), Nizhny Novgorod (197 thousand rubles/sq.m), and Ufa (thousand rubles/sq.m). It was previously reported that over 1200 violations were identified by the Housing Inspection of Tatarstan during the inspection of major repairs of apartment buildings. This year, 915 apartment buildings have been included in the major repair program. As stated in the inspection's report, as of today, work has been completed in 425 buildings, but specialists have accepted only 103 of these objects.
