According to previously published data from the republic's government, starting from 2019 to 2024, more than 1,800 people have already been relocated from emergency houses across Tatarstan.
The Russian government will allocate more than 8.3 billion rubles to 23 regions as part of the national project "Infrastructure for Life" for the relocation of 15,800 people from emergency housing. This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Marat Khusnullin. The relevant information was published on the official website of the government. Tatarstan is among the recipients of the funds. According to the document, the amount of funding for the republic will be 95.9 million rubles. The leaders in subsidies are the Arkhangelsk region (2.1 billion rubles), the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, and the Trans-Baikal Territory (1 billion rubles each). Another 11 subjects will receive from 100 to 500 million rubles. Less than Tatarstan has been allocated only to the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug (39.2 million), Kabardino-Balkaria (15.8 million), and Sevastopol (2.9 million). It should be noted that the authorities of Kazan announced plans in early September to extend the municipal relocation program until the end of 2026 with a total funding of 276.4 million rubles. These funds are made up of contributions from the "Territorial Development Fund," the budgets of Tatarstan, and Kazan itself, writes "BUSINESS Online." Recall that in July 2024, the executive committee of Kazan appealed to the government of Tatarstan with a request to form a new program, as there were still 113 emergency apartment buildings in the city. The previous program, launched in 2019, was completed ahead of schedule, allowing 503 families to relocate from 51 houses. It was previously reported that over 1,200 violations were identified by the Housing Inspection of Tatarstan during the inspection of the capital repairs of apartment buildings. This year, the capital repair program includes 915 apartment buildings. Work has been completed in 425 houses, but specialists have accepted only 103 of them.
