       In the cities of the Volga Federal District, a significant increase in janitor salaries has been recorded. According to a study by the "Avito Work" service, in the third quarter of 2025, employers significantly raised salary offers for this category of workers, reports "Real Time". Kazan became the leader in growth rates, where the average salary of a janitor reached 44.4 thousand rubles – 35% higher than last year's figures. Analysts note that this increase is related to the introduction of additional payments for evening shifts and an increase in the volume of work. Positive dynamics are also observed in other major cities of the district: in Ufa – 37 thousand rubles (+21%), in Samara – 42.2 thousand rubles (+19%), and in Perm – 35.3 thousand rubles (+6%).Across the entire Volga Federal District, the range of offered salaries for janitors now stands at 35-44 thousand rubles per month. The amount of payment depends on the work schedule, shift duration, and the area serviced. Experts note that traditionally, in the fall, rates increase due to the seasonal increase in workload associated with leaf cleaning and preparation for the winter season, which includes combating snow drifts. As reported at the end of October, ahead of winter, Kazan may face a municipal crisis: the city lacks more than 800 janitors. According to official data from city departments, 2200 specialists are needed to maintain cleanliness on the streets, but only nearly 1400 people are actually working.
