18-year-old Adam Kadyrov was awarded a medal for the protection of the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant.

      The son of the head of Chechnya, Adam Kadyrov, who holds the position of secretary of the republic's security council, has been awarded the gold medal "For Merits in Enhancing the Security of Nuclear Power Plants." This was reported on his Telegram channel by his father, the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov. The award, established by the "Rosenergoatom" concern, was presented to Kadyrov by the commander of the OMON "Akhmat-Grozny" of the National Guard of Russia in Chechnya, Anzor Bisaev. The ceremony took place during a meeting that the security council secretary held with the commanders of the republic's law enforcement agencies. "He was awarded this medal by the order of JSC 'Concern Rosenergoatom' for his significant contribution and assistance in organizing the protection and ensuring the safety of the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant during the special military operation," wrote Ramzan Kadyrov. The head of the region published a video capturing the moments of the medal presentation and the meeting itself. The meeting discussed preparations for elections in the republic, prevention of extremism, and the work of Chechen contractors in the SVO zone. The head of Chechnya did not specify when the mentioned meeting and award ceremony took place. TASS notes that earlier, information about an accident in Grozny, in which Adam Kadyrov allegedly sustained injuries, circulated on social media. The Chechen authorities did not comment on the reports of the traffic accident. Meanwhile, the "Akhmat" fighting club denied the information about the death in the accident of MMA fighter Khamzat Chimaev. The club urged people "not to believe rumors and not to spread them."
