Sky News: The first negotiations between the delegations of Russia, the USA, and Ukraine have begun in the UAE.

      The first trilateral negotiations involving delegations from Russia, the USA, and Ukraine have begun in Abu Dhabi. This was reported by the Sky News channel. It was previously reported that the negotiations were set to start this evening. Meanwhile, the media notes that it is still unknown whether representatives from the Russian Federation and Ukraine are in the same room. As recently clarified by the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Peskov, the meeting of Russia, the USA, and Ukraine in Abu Dhabi will start this evening, with another round planned for Saturday. The official representative of the Kremlin noted that the Ukrainian Armed Forces must withdraw from Donbas for the settlement process. "They must be withdrawn from there. This is a very important condition [for the settlement]," he indicated.

      Last night in Moscow, a meeting took place between Russian President Vladimir Putin and the special envoy of the US President, Steve Whitcoff, along with Donald Trump's son-in-law, businessman Jared Kushner. As reported by the assistant to the President of the Russian Federation, Yuri Ushakov, Russia stated that without resolving the territorial issue, one should not expect a long-term settlement in Ukraine. Until there are agreements, Russia will continue to address the issue on the battlefield, where "the Russian Armed Forces hold the strategic initiative," he added.

      The Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera reported that the trilateral negotiations in Abu Dhabi would allegedly discuss Kyiv's refusal of territories in exchange for financial assistance of $800 billion and security guarantees.
