      Today, a press conference was held at the State Council, where the head of the "TNV" deputy group, Arthur Abdulzyanov, spoke about the results of the group's work in 2025 and plans for the upcoming period. The chairwoman of the Executive Committee of the Supreme Council of the ROD "Tatarstan - New Century," Alsu Tarkhanova, also participated in the press conference. Last year, the "TNV" deputy group held 7 meetings, during which 21 issues were considered. As noted by Arthur Abdulzyanov, the deputy group is guided by two main priorities in its work – citizens' appeals and the main tasks outlined in the Address of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan. In 2025, the deputies of the "TNV" group, which consists of seven members, reviewed more than 400 appeals.

      The members of the deputy group pay special attention to supporting participants of the special operation and their families. As Arthur Abdulzyanov reported, participants of the special operation and their families do not always have information about the benefits and support measures they are entitled to. In this regard, last year, the parliamentarians used their own funds to produce and send over 60,000 brochures and 1,100 informational stands titled "Support Measures for Participants of the SVO and Their Families" to the municipalities of the republic. Active informational work is planned to continue this year.

      Among the notable events of last year was the festival of student choirs "Songs of Victory," which involved more than 800 students and 45 groups from 20 districts of the republic, as well as the cities of Kazan and Naberezhnye Chelny. "This year, we plan to continue our work on patriotic education for youth by announcing a patriotic song contest among ensembles. We expect participants and veterans of the SVO to take part in it," said Alsu Tarkhanova.

      Speaking about legislative activities, Arthur Abdulzyanov noted that on December 24, during the seventeenth meeting of the State Council, deputies adopted a law in the first reading and as a whole on the prohibition and restrictions on the sale of non-alcoholic tonic drinks (including energy drinks) in the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan. Arthur Abdulzyanov was one of the co-authors of the law. The adopted law prohibits the sale of tonic drinks in educational, medical, and social facilities. The law has been signed by the President of the Republic, Rustam Minnikhanov, and will come into effect on September 1, 2026.

      The chairwoman of the Executive Committee of the Supreme Council of the ROD "Tatarstan - New Century," Alsu Tarkhanova, also spoke about the results of the municipal elections held on September 14, 2025. In two municipal districts of the republic – Zelenodolsk and Sarman – deputy groups "TNV" were formed as a result of the elections. "In total, 159 deputies from TNV were elected to local self-government bodies. In the two districts – Zelenodolsk and Sarman – our deputies were elected to the district councils. Thus, in the Zelenodolsk district, we have three deputies who formed the "TNV" group, and in Sarman, there turned out to be six deputies," noted Alsu Tarkhanova.

      The immediate plans of the deputy group include continuing work on preserving historical memory, studying the issue of student teams working in the republic's industries, etc.
