Schoolchildren of Tatarstan study tactical medicine at "Zarnitsa 2.0"

      In the republic, the military-patriotic game "Zarnitsa 2.0" is gaining momentum. Participants in the competition not only test their strength in military disciplines but also acquire vital knowledge in providing emergency assistance, which can be useful in critical moments. The students themselves take on the role of medics.

      In Tatarstan, the school stages of the all-Russian military-patriotic game "Zarnitsa 2.0" continue, having started in the early days of March. As reported by the regional branch of the "Movement of the First," young participants are actively immersing themselves in the specifics of military professions, paying special attention to the training of medics and first aid skills. According to therapist and movement mentor Anna Merlakova, such skills play a key role in forming psychological resilience. She emphasized that mastering action algorithms in emergency situations significantly reduces panic levels and increases the chances of saving victims. The experience gained in the game, in Merlakova's opinion, lays the foundation for confident behavior in unforeseen circumstances.

      A vivid example is seventh-grader Gulnaz Kalimullina from the Yamashurminskaya school. Her interest in the healthcare field was instilled by her older sister, who is involved in the organization "We Value Life." Gulnaz has been participating in the project since its launch and chose the role of a medic for herself. It was "Zarnitsa" that sparked her deep interest in tactical medicine. In the current season, her team won at the school level and is now preparing for the next competitions.

      To prepare for the competitions, the organizers developed a special video course that provides detailed information about the upcoming stages. Materials can be reviewed and applications for participation can be submitted on the official game portal until March 31.

      Earlier, the assistant to the President of Tatarstan and head of the republican "Movement of the First," Timur Suleimanov, reported that over 35,000 children and teenagers joined the game in the first weeks of March alone. He noted that interest in the project is growing: last season, about 105,000 people participated, comprising more than 10,000 teams. This year, a similarly large involvement of schoolchildren is expected. Suleimanov added that for the organizers, the key indicator is not so much the scale but the genuine enthusiasm of the kids for the game format, which allows them to study history more deeply and acquire practical skills.

      Let us remind you that the "Movement of the First" was established by the decree of the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, in 2022. The activities of the Tatarstan branch are overseen by the Republican Coordinating Council, created by the order of the President of RT, Rustam Minnikhanov.
