The recently formed branch of troops is particularly popular among those wishing to sign a contract. But before entering the unmanned systems troops, everyone undergoes two months of training. "The drone can save the lives of an entire group, but it replaces one fighter... on top, we attach a battery to power the UAV and connect an explosive device," shared a source. A combat veteran, who is barely 22 years old and goes by the call sign "Cat," needed only a week of practice. He loves computer games very much. "I, like a cat, love to play with everything unknown. I play computer games, and because of this, service in the unmanned systems troops becomes even more interesting," said the fighter with the call sign "Cat." Each candidate can familiarize themselves with a small exhibition. Here are our "birds," and this is a downed enemy drone. They are looking for brave men aged 18 to 45, preferably those already familiar with drones. Before deciding to join the unmanned defense of the Motherland, Denis worked in a drone assembly shop. "This is a very large system that helps our military. Both reconnaissance and strike. Helping the guys to finish everything faster," shared the future fighter. The contract lasts for one year, and valuable knowledge in operating drones will be useful for a lifetime. "The specialty has a wide range both in the armed forces and in civilian life. Guys who have served in the unmanned systems troops will also be able to work in the civilian sector," explained Yegor Goryachev, an officer at the military service recruitment point in Kazan.

      There are already many professions in civilian life related to operating such systems. Salaries are high. In combat zones, in addition to a one-time payment of 2 million 900 thousand rubles and a monthly salary starting from 220 thousand, rewards for destroying equipment are also provided. For downing an enemy drone, payments range from 5 to 50 thousand rubles. For the destruction of a watercraft — 300 thousand, and for immobilizing a tank, armored personnel carrier, or aircraft — up to half a million.
