The Minister of Ecology of Tatarstan congratulated meteorologists on their professional holiday.

      The Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Azat Ziganshin, congratulated the employees and veterans of the hydrometeorological service on their professional holiday, which is celebrated today worldwide. In his address, the minister emphasized the special significance of the work of meteorologists for the safety and sustainable development of the region. "For almost two centuries, Russian meteorologists have been looking into the future every day to protect the present. Your work is much more than just numbers on monitors and lines on graphs. It is the foundation on which the safety of the country and the functioning of all life-supporting sectors are built," he noted. The head of the department highlighted that the well-being of key transport and energy systems, including the Volga-Kama cascade, as well as the work of farmers, builders, pilots, and doctors, depends on the accuracy of forecasts. "Every morning, millions of people start their day with your forecast. You do not just warn about the whims of nature – you help save resources, prevent disasters, and save human lives. Your readiness to act promptly and make the right decisions even in the most difficult conditions deserves deep respect," the minister's congratulation stated. In conclusion, Azat Ziganshin wished the employees of the hydrometeorological service good health, prosperity, consistently accurate forecasts, and new professional successes.
