"Homemade food for the front line": a family from Tatarstan prepares porridge and stew for the fighters
In the Nizhnekamsk district of Tatarstan, a family of volunteers has organized the production of food for participants in the special military operation at their home. In a regular kitchen, they prepare homemade stew and various types of porridge daily, which are then sent to the front lines. As the volunteers note, another batch is currently being prepared for shipment. The production is based on a home kitchen, where hearty dishes are created from simple ingredients. On this day, they are making buckwheat porridge with frying and pieces of meat. According to volunteer Aynaz Kasimkhanov, despite the simplicity of the recipe, the dish turns out to be tasty and nutritious. Together with his father Marat, the family produces up to 16 portions a day and regularly cooks homemade stew and other types of porridge. "Soldiers will appreciate homemade food more — it is tastier and more filling. They understand that this is a piece from home," noted Marat Kasimkhanov. At the initial stage, the products were purchased with the family's own funds, which limited production volumes. Later, thanks to the support of the volunteer center "Kind Hearts," they managed to establish supplies of necessary ingredients — vegetables, meat, and cereals. "Now, with the help of what people have gathered, we are already making these porridges together with the family," said Aynaz Kasimkhanov. Special attention is paid not only to taste but also to the preservation of products. For delivery to the front lines, thermal packaging is used: after packaging, the porridge is hermetically sealed with special equipment and then brought to readiness in an autoclave. This allows for the freshness and quality of the dishes to be preserved until they are handed over to the military personnel. In his message to the State Council of Tatarstan, the President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov thanked the volunteers for their contribution to supporting the special military operation.
"We see how difficult times have united our society. Tatarstan residents, responding to the call of their hearts, support our fighters, their families, and collect humanitarian aid for the front and the sponsored cities of Lysychansk and Rubizhne. I want to thank everyone for this important work," he said. The material was prepared with the participation of Nadezhda Bagautdinova.
