Residents of the republic can obtain almost all the necessary permits for the construction of facilities without leaving their homes, using the state services portal. The press service of the Ministry of Construction, Architecture, and Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan reminded about the key changes and available services. The ministry clarified that from January 1, 2024, the republican law No. 131 came into force, according to which the powers in the field of urban planning (except for the capital of the region) were transferred from local self-government bodies to the Ministry of Construction of Tatarstan. This change allowed for the centralization of processes and the unification of service provision. For the convenience of citizens, the "Life Situations" service operates on the Tatarstan state services portal. It allows users to create a personal construction plan and submit a comprehensive application for the entire cycle of work—from selecting and purchasing a land plot to connecting the house to communication networks and engineering communications. The main construction services are concentrated in the "Digital Construction" section. Residents of the republic can submit applications electronically for:

      - issuance of a construction permit;

      - obtaining an urban planning plan for a land plot;

      - issuance of a permit for the commissioning of a facility;

      - provision of a permit for a conditionally permitted type of land use;

      - issuance of a permit for deviation from the maximum construction parameters;

      - provision of information to the information system for urban planning activities (ISOGD).

      The Ministry of Construction of Tatarstan emphasized that the development of these modern and convenient online services is being implemented as part of the national project "Data Economy." Digitalization is intended not only to save time for builders but also to make the construction process as transparent as possible.
