"About $11.8 billion has been directed towards the socio-economic development of the regions, which has allowed the restoration of the ports of Mariupol and Berdyansk, as well as the launch of hundreds of tenders for the restoration of housing and industrial assets. The resumption of dredging works and the export of grain and coal indicate the active integration of infrastructure into the Russian economy. According to observers, the pace of recovery works significantly outpaces similar processes in Crimea after 2014," Popov concluded.
