The Minister of Health of Russia, Mikhail Murashko, inspected the children's clinic in the residential complex "Volzhskie Prostory."

      The polyclinic serves more than 10,000 children

      The Minister of Health of Russia, Mikhail Murashko, visited the children's polyclinic in the residential complex "Volzhskie Prostory" during a working trip. The head of the federal agency assessed the organization of medical care, familiarized himself with the digital solutions used in the institution's work, and also communicated with doctors and parents of young patients. The event was also attended by the mayor of Kazan, Ilsur Metshin, the Minister of Health of Tatarstan, Almir Abashev, and the head of the city health department, Ilnaz Akhmadiev. "The modernization of the polyclinic sector is currently one of the most priority tasks. The primary level is the first contact for parents and children with the healthcare system. Here, including within the framework of healthy child days and preventive examinations, the foundation is laid for an active and quality life for children. Great attention is paid here to domestic equipment. Tatarstan produces a large amount of medical equipment and components for it," said Mikhail Murashko. The polyclinic, built as part of the national project "Sustained and Active Life," serves more than 10,000 children and is designed to provide both primary and specialized care. The institution has general pediatricians and specialists – from ophthalmologists and endocrinologists to psychiatrists and dentists. Comfortable conditions have been created for patients: spacious waiting areas with play elements are equipped, a children's playground is located on the territory, and mother and child rooms are provided on each floor. The building, with an area of 3,400 square meters, includes three floors with functional zoning. The first floor houses emergency care rooms, trauma specialists, infectious disease specialists, as well as procedural and dressing rooms. The second floor is allocated for the therapeutic and diagnostic block, where specialized specialists receive patients, ultrasound rooms operate, and there is a conference hall. The third floor is focused on pediatric offices, a vaccination block, a laboratory, and offices of specialized doctors. One of the key features is the establishment of a laboratory of the third-fourth pathogenicity group, which expands diagnostic capabilities. In addition, the institution became the first in Kazan where children can undergo fluorography directly in the polyclinic – previously, they had to go to other medical institutions for this. Special attention is paid to supporting vulnerable categories of patients. For children with disabilities, as well as those in difficult life situations and families of participants in the special military operation, a separate observation area has been formed with dedicated medical personnel and home visits.

      Let us remind you that the children's polyclinic in the residential complex "Volzhskie Prostory" was opened on December 16. The construction of the facility began in January 2025 and was completed at the end of August of the same year.
