Alexey Pesoshin noted that the Kazan medical school is widely known not only in Tatarstan but also in Russia, and for many decades has made a significant contribution to training medical personnel for the country. "With the support of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, the university is implementing a large-scale educational program and annually graduates more than 800 specialists, whose training is provided by highly qualified professors and teachers," said the Head of the Government of Tatarstan. He noted that Ayrat Farakhov is a graduate of Kazan State Medical Institute. "His entire professional path is closely linked to the healthcare sector of the Republic of Tatarstan. This is especially valuable when the alma mater is headed by a person who deeply understands its history and potential. I am confident that his professional knowledge and deep understanding of both regional and national medical challenges will serve as a solid foundation for new achievements of the university," emphasized the Prime Minister of Tatarstan. Alexey Pesoshin congratulated Ayrat Farakhov on his appointment to this responsible position and wished him success in implementing all planned goals and tasks. "I am confident that under your leadership, KSMU will maintain and enhance its leading positions, continuing to train medical specialists of the highest qualification," he addressed the new acting rector.
