Young inspectors from the "Dandelion" group: an unusual traffic rules lesson took place in "Thumbelina"

      The pupils of the kindergarten "Thumbelina" not only learned the rules of the road but also turned into real controllers for their parents. The cheerful, mischievous, and very curious kids from the "Dandelion" group demonstrated how to properly and safely cross the street. The lesson began in a cozy group. At first, the little ones listened attentively to the teacher's story about the most important traffic regulator — the traffic light. The preschoolers firmly remembered: red light — stop, yellow — get ready, and green — confidently cross the road. To reinforce the material, the "dandelions" studied colorful pictures of pedestrian crossings and road signs. But the most painstaking stage was the creative part: the kids made a pedestrian crossing application with their own hands. Theory was left behind, and the most interesting part began. The teachers gave the young traffic rules experts an unusual homework assignment — to go for a walk... together with their moms and dads. But they couldn't just walk. Outside, each child from the "Dandelion" group transformed into a little inspector of the State Traffic Inspectorate. ☝️ Armed with the knowledge they had gained, the children carefully observed every step of the adults. The main task of the young controllers was to monitor the correct algorithm for crossing the road: First, look to the right. Then turn your head to the left. Make sure there are no cars nearby. And only after that start moving. Moms and dads tried not to let them down and showed only the correct example. As a result, a whole team of young experts from "Thumbelina" confidently and safely crossed the street, repeating the rules like real inspectors.

      "Children not only absorbed the material but also felt responsible for the adults. This approach — playing 'inspector' — works much more effectively than regular lectures," noted the educators of the "Dandelion" group. Now the kids know for sure: safety on the road depends on everyone, even the smallest pedestrian.
