In Tatarstan, the 16th season of the "Personnel Reserve" has been launched.
In the Republic of Tatarstan, the anniversary, 16th season of the republican project "Personnel Reserve" has officially opened. The solemn ceremony took place at the Youth Extreme Park "URAM". The organizers emphasize that the competition is fully synchronized with the benchmarks of the national project "Youth and Children", and the main goal is to cultivate managers and specialized professionals for the youth work sector. In 2026, the format of the project underwent changes: it will consist of two separate stages, transforming it into a comprehensive platform for nurturing young leaders of Tatarstan. As noted by the Minister of Youth Affairs of the RT, Azat Kadyrov, this approach became possible thanks to the support of the national project aimed at helping every young person find their path and realize their talents. "We dedicate the spring stage to forming a pool of competent specialists for regional youth policy. As for the autumn stage, it will serve as a springboard for forming a new composition of the Youth Government of the republic," commented Azat Kadyrov.
Competitive Selection and Statistics
The application process generated significant interest among the youth. A total of over 750 applications were submitted by residents of 35 municipal districts and urban districts of Tatarstan. Only 85 individuals passed the rigorous selection process, which included testing on specialized knowledge and personal interviews — these are the ones admitted to the main program.
Structure and Learning Directions
The season program includes four stages: two in a remote format and two with in-person attendance. Participants will be able to choose one of two trajectories:
— "Trying and Creating" — a track for newcomers who are just starting their journey in project activities.
— "Developing and Scaling" — for experienced participants who already have successful cases in implementing initiatives.
During the training, the contestants will undergo intensive theoretical and practical sessions, develop social initiatives, and also have internships in leading youth organizations in the region. Among the internship platforms are the "Agricultural Youth Association of RT", "FORPOST", "Academy of Creative Youth of RT", the regional branch of the "Movement of the First" and the Youth Center of RT.
Mentorship and Prospects
A key feature of this season will be the enhanced work with mentors. Each of the 85 participants will have the opportunity to learn from recognized experts and representatives of specialized organizations. This approach, according to the project's authors, will allow young people to immerse themselves more deeply in the professional environment and build an individual career strategy.
History and Significance of the Project
Over the years of its existence, the "Personnel Reserve" has established itself as one of the main training grounds for managerial personnel for Tatarstan. Project graduates successfully work in state and municipal structures, launch their own socially significant projects, and make a substantial contribution to the evolution of youth policy in the republic. The project is implemented by the Ministry of Youth Affairs of RT in collaboration with the Regional Public Organization "Academy of Creative Youth of the Republic of Tatarstan" with the support of the Government of the republic as part of the national project "Youth and Children".
