      The former head of the conscription and training department for military service at the military commissariat of Yelabuga, Rinat Zaripov, has been released under a prohibition of certain actions. The hearing on the preventive measure took place today in the city court of Naberezhnye Chelny. It should be noted that the reserve lieutenant colonel is suspected of mediating in bribery for military tickets (Article 291.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). The amount in question is over one million rubles. Zaripov was detained the day before, and today he was brought into the courtroom in handcuffs and accompanied by a convoy. The investigation insisted on his arrest. Recall that in 2014, Zaripov was already held criminally liable. The case was similar – a 23-year-old local resident handed him 140,000 rubles for a military ticket through an intermediary. They were detained at the moment of the money transfer. Both admitted their guilt. The city court of Yelabuga then sentenced Zaripov to three years probation with a similar probation period, while the woman received a fine of four times the amount of the bribe (560,000 rubles) and was deprived of the right to hold positions in public service and local government related to the execution of administrative, economic, and organizational functions for two years.
