Activists tidied up two underground passages in Kazan.

      In Kazan, 20 activists from the "Young Guard" and "Russian Student Squads" cleaned up two underground passages on Bolshaya Krylova Street. Young residents of the city participated in a "cleanliness action" initiated by the committee for external improvement and the committee for children's and youth affairs, reports the press service of the Kazan mayor's office. During the work, participants tried their hand at being employees of the Municipal Unitary Enterprise "City Bridges." In just a few hours, they cleaned the passages after the winter period: washing the walls and structural elements, and painting the railings. The most challenging part of the work was removing inscriptions from various surfaces — some of them could not be removed even after treatment with special solutions. The action was joined by the chairman of the committee for external improvement of Kazan, Albert Shainurov, and the chairman of the committee for children's and youth affairs, Dmitry Khvostikov. They worked alongside volunteers, using the necessary tools. Albert Shainurov thanked the youth organizations for participating in the clean-up and noted that the participants saw firsthand the difference between how easy it is to make an inscription and how difficult it is to remove it later. According to him, one inscription can appear in a few minutes, while its removal requires the efforts of several people and significant time. He expressed hope that this experience would make young people think and convey this conclusion to their peers.
