      Memory that lives in hearts

      On April 14, a significant patriotic event—a lesson of courage titled "Their feat is immortal"—was held at the GDK of the Mirny microdistrict. The participants of the meeting included fourth-grade students from Zainsk Secondary School No. 5 along with their teacher Guzel Munavirovna, as well as volunteers from the "Maskseti" group and creative workers from the city cultural center.

      A look into the past and present

      The children attentively watched a media presentation dedicated to local heroes of the special military operation. The images changed, and the students gazed into the faces of those who protect the future of the country at the cost of their own lives. After the viewing, the children learned about the stand "Memory is stronger than time," which featured photographs and facts about the fallen soldiers. The event's host supplemented what was seen with a live story that left no child indifferent.

      A word from the volunteer: "We pray for them while weaving nets"

      The meeting was particularly touching due to the speech by the head of the volunteer group in the Mirny microdistrict, Ismagilova Gulfia Uzbekovna. She told the students about what volunteering is and what the work of people with a broad soul, full of kindness and responsiveness, entails.

      "We are few, the most active ones, but we all work tirelessly, not sparing our time. Supporting our fighters is the main task now, so that our guys are under the protection of our nets and our motherly hearts. We truly believe that they will all return home alive and unharmed because we pray for them while weaving nets," Gulfia Uzbekovna shared.

      She emphasized that anyone can become a volunteer, regardless of age, and that this activity is worthy and selfless.

      A minute of silence and an invitation to action

      During the lesson, they remembered former students of ZOOSH No. 5 who heroically died while fulfilling their military duty. Their names are forever inscribed in the history of the school and the microdistrict. Those present honored the memory of the fallen with a minute of silence.

      After the official part, the volunteers invited the children to a master class. The students were able to try their hand at weaving camouflage nets and packing goodies for the soldiers. The kids enthusiastically got to work, understanding that each knot woven is a life saved.

      Why such lessons are important

      Such events remind the younger generation of the people and events that are worth being proud of. They teach children to be strong, courageous, and compassionate. When students collect material aid for soldiers and write letters of gratitude and respect, they also perform small heroic deeds.

      Children thank the defenders for giving them the opportunity to learn, work, and simply live at the cost of their own lives. We must not forget the feats of heroes committed for a happy peaceful life. The organizers hope that every child absorbed this lesson of courage and left inspired to do good deeds.
