The cost of parking in the center of Kazan has increased.

      In Kazan, the cost of municipal parking has been adjusted — changes affected 34 areas. The corresponding decree was published by the city executive committee. In most zones, the rate increased by 20–40 rubles per hour. However, in one area, the cost decreased. Thus, parking became more expensive on the streets of Professor Nuzhin, Nikolai Stolbov, Teatralnaya, Mushtari, Mayakovsky, Dzerzhinsky, as well as in Freedom Square and Karl Marx Street. The price increase also affected Galiaskar Kamal, Chernyshevsky, Pravo-Bulachnaya, Universitetskaya, and several other areas. Notably, the rate on Kremlin Street decreased — here the cost was reduced from 100 to 70 rubles per hour. At the same time, the city expanded the list of places where one can park for free for 30 minutes. Such zones have appeared near social facilities — schools, kindergartens, and medical institutions. In particular, free short-term parking has been organized near Lyceum No. 5 on Volkov Street, Kindergarten No. 283 on Vishnevsky, Gymnasium No. 175 on Dzhauadat Faizi, as well as near several clinics and other institutions.
