Experts of KGAU assessed the condition of green areas in Lysychansk and Rubizhne.

      Representatives of Kazan State Agrarian University – Professor Kharis Musin and Assistant Nail Mirsiyapov – visited the cities of Lysychansk and Rubizhne, which are under the patronage of Tatarstan. The trip took place as part of the joint work of the Deputy Prime Minister of Tatarstan, Rinat Sadykov, and the rector of the university, Ilshat Nuriyev. During the visit, the specialists assessed the condition of green spaces and landscaping. They inspected parks, squares, public spaces, as well as the territories of schools and kindergartens. As a result of their work, the experts concluded that the system of greening and maintaining green spaces needs comprehensive renewal. Kharis Musin noted that before the reunification of these cities with Russia, insufficient attention was paid to greening and landscaping issues. According to him, most of the trees were planted before the perestroika, and now these are aging plantings that have largely lost their functions – both in terms of improving the ecological environment and forming a comfortable urban space. He also added that in all the squares inspected, on the territories of schools and other facilities, the trees require specialized care – both park and forest care. In the expert's opinion, it is necessary to develop greening and landscaping projects using quality planting material from specialized nurseries. Musin emphasized that consistent work on updating green areas – in parks, on streets, as well as on the territories of schools, kindergartens, and hospitals – will change the appearance of Rubizhne and Lysychansk. This, in his assessment, will contribute to the improvement of the urban environment and the creation of more comfortable living conditions. He added that with these conclusions and proposals, the delegation concludes its visit. At the same time, Tatarstan has already implemented a significant amount of work in these cities, but many tasks remain ahead. According to the expert, they encountered specialists from the republic – builders and designers – at almost every site. They also managed to communicate with fellow countrymen, including the head of the Almetyevsky district, Gyuzel Khabutdinova, who is there on a humanitarian mission. Following the trip, it is planned to work out proposals for the development of the greening and landscaping system of public spaces, taking into account the identified problems and needs.
