On the eve of the 3rd Sunday after Easter, Metropolitan Kirill held an all-night vigil at the Varvarinsky Church in Kazan.

      On the evening of April 25, on the eve of the Week of the Holy Myrrhbearers, Metropolitan Kirill of Kazan and Tatarstan held an all-night vigil at the Church of Great Martyr Barbara in the city of Kazan. His Eminence was assisted by the secretary of the Tatarstan Metropolis, Hieromonk Kirill (Korytko), the rector of the Barbara Church, Priest Dmitry Kudryavsky, the rector of the John the Baptist Monastery in Kazan, Archimandrite Alexy (Yatseiko), the rector of the Church of the Yaroslavl Miracle Workers at the Arsk Cemetery, Protoiereus Nikolai Troitsky, the rector of the Spaso-Evdokievsky Church in Kazan, Priest Dmitry Alikin, the cleric of the Church of the Holy Martyr Cyril of Kazan, Priest Mikhail Timofeev, and the clerics of the Barbara Church – Priest Mikhail Ganin and Priest Gleb Krivoshein. The hymns were performed by the archdiocesan choir under the direction of Marina Litvinenko and the parish choir under the direction of Alisa Mamina. After the reading of the Gospel, a sermon was delivered by Priest Dmitry Kudryavsky. During the anointing with holy oil, the faithful were given Easter postcards. The priests presented live flowers to the women, girls, and young ladies present at the service. In conclusion, Metropolitan Kirill congratulated the believers on the Feast of the Myrrhbearers: "We congratulate you all on the feast, dear fathers, brothers, and sisters! Dear successors of our myrrhbearers! Thank you for your love for God, for the Holy Church, for the divine services. May the Lord and the Queen of Heaven keep you all! Christ is Risen!" The archpastor blessed the faithful. On April 26, on the 3rd Sunday after Pascha, of the Holy Myrrhbearers, the head of the Tatarstan Metropolis will celebrate the Divine Liturgy at the Church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul in the city of Zelenodolsk (Garin Street, 1A). The service will begin at 9:00.
