Tatarstan: the best routes for road trips

      Tatarstan is actively developing its tourist infrastructure, offering motorists a variety of routes across the region. All of them have been created as part of the national project "Tourism and Hospitality" and are available on the travel portal travel.rf.

      With the launch of the M-12 highway, reaching the republic has become significantly faster, which has noticeably increased the flow of auto tourists. According to the head of the State Committee for Tourism of the Republic of Tatarstan, Sergey Ivanov, over 52 million trips have been made on the "East" highway in two years, and cars from new regions are increasingly seen on the streets of Kazan.

      "From Antiquity to Modernity: Amazing Tatarstan". Length — 390 km, duration — 6 days. The route passes through Lake Osinovskoye, Kazan Kremlin, the island-city of Sviyazhsk, and the archaeological complex of Bilyarsk. Suitable for family vacations and available year-round. "Through the Pages of History: Uncovering the Secrets of Tatarstan". Length — 284 km, duration — 4 days. Includes visits to the Kama Estuary, ancient Sviyazhsk, and the main attractions of Kazan. Operates from May to September. "Laishevo — Kazan — Yelabuga". Length — 266 km, duration — 5 days. A journey from Laishevo through Kazan to Yelabuga — a city associated with the names of outstanding cultural figures. "Tatarstan — the Land of 1001 Pleasures". The most extensive route: 960 km over a week. Covers Sviyazhsk, Naberezhnye Chelny, Bolgar, Tyulyachi, and other iconic places. Available year-round.
