A new hot meal distribution point for those in need has started operating today in the village of Yudino. Hot meals and food packages — a new assistance point has opened today in Yudino. This is already the 12th point in Kazan and the 40th in Tatarstan. Elderly people, receiving packages with oil, cereals, and flour, expressed their gratitude for the attention and care. "It is nice, of course, that they care about us," say the residents of the village of Yudino. "Such care is very pleasant for me. As soon as I heard — I came right away. Huge thanks to everyone," they note. The new point opened at 21 Ilyich Street. Here, elderly people and those without a permanent place of residence can receive hot meals daily. Today's menu includes soup and porridge. "We have many responsive and kind people. There are actually many more than it seems. Benefactors come even from other regions. Our points are now operating in six cities," noted the founder of the "Shelter for People" project, Azat Gainutdinov. The "Shelter for People" project has been helping those in need in six regions of Russia for eight years. Here, more than three thousand portions of food are distributed daily, assistance with clothing is provided, psychological and legal support is offered, and help with employment is facilitated. "We are glad that such points are opening in our area. Everyone passing by thinks about how they can also help," noted the head of the administration of the Kirov and Moscow districts of Kazan, Vladimir Zhavoronkov.

      "Such projects really help those who are left alone with their situation," emphasized the Commissioner for Human Rights in Tatarstan, Sariya Saburskaya. During the operation of the "Shelter for People" project, thousands of people have received help.
