      The Prosecutor's Office of Tatarstan reported on a new scheme used by fraudsters, where people are deceived with promises of cheap airline tickets. As noted by the agency, the scheme is divided into two stages. First, the fraudsters find a person who wants a discount on a flight on social media and offer to sell subsidized tickets under the pretext that they cannot fly themselves. After that, the ticket is supposedly reissued to the victim. For this, the buyer must send a photo of their documents and money as a prepayment, commission, or full cost. Once the money is credited to their account, the fraudsters delete the correspondence and block the victim. "It is officially impossible to reissue an airline ticket to another person. Moreover, this procedure should not be entrusted to strangers from the internet," the prosecutor's office emphasized.
