      In Tatarstan, it is necessary to systematically develop the volunteer movement and strengthen efforts for the patriotic education of youth. This was stated by the Head of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, at a meeting of the republican organizing committee for events dedicated to the 81st anniversary of Victory and the Year of Military and Labor Valor. "The further development of the volunteer movement requires separate consideration. Today, thousands of volunteers are active in the republic, providing invaluable assistance to participants of the Special Military Operation (SMO). It is essential to systematically adapt the existing volunteer infrastructure to support the families of the fallen and veterans of the SMO, as well as to support children's and youth projects aimed at caring for the defenders of the Fatherland," emphasized Minnikhanov. The Head of Tatarstan also pointed out the importance of a systematic approach to encouraging volunteers and developing relevant initiatives. He paid special attention to the issues of patriotic education of youth, stressing the need to establish a more effective dialogue with the younger generation. "One of the strategic tasks is the patriotic education of the younger generation. We know what patriotism is, but how do we engage youth in this work? This is our problem, our shortcoming, that we have not yet found the appropriate approaches. We must learn to engage in dialogue with youth and conduct explanatory work," stated the Tatarstan leader. Minnikhanov also called for more active involvement of educational institutions and youth organizations in the patriotic agenda, including developing the work of the "First Movement." Furthermore, the Head of the Republic reminded that the year 2026 will be filled with significant historical and socially important dates. This includes the 85th anniversary of the beginning of the Great Patriotic War, the Year of Military and Labor Valor in Tatarstan, and the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia. According to him, these events should serve as the basis for large-scale patriotic work and the preservation of historical memory. "We have the task of conducting all planned events with dignity, preserving the memory of the heroic past and strengthening the unity of peoples," noted the Head of Tatarstan.

      He added that all initiatives should be more widely covered in the media and also reflected in the cultural and creative sphere, including theaters and concert venues.
