Junior Sergeant Ayrat Sadikov served as a commander of a drone in military unit 24314 and participated in combat operations for Avdiivka in the Pokrovsky district of the Donetsk People's Republic. He died on December 26, 2025, while fulfilling his military duty. By the decree of the President of the Russian Federation, he was awarded the medal "For Courage" and was also awarded the medal "For the Capture of Avdiivka." Danil Zaripov served as a stormtrooper in the 433rd Guards Motorized Rifle Red Banner Regiment named after the Don Cossacks. He participated in the liberation of the village of Ocheretino in the Yasynuvata district of the Donetsk People's Republic. He died on July 6, 2024, while performing a combat mission. He was posthumously awarded the Order of Courage. Lyceum No. 18 carefully preserves the history of its students and the traditions of patriotic education. The opening of the "Hero's Desks" served as an important reminder of the price of peace, responsibility to the country, and the heroism of young people who remained faithful to their oath and their Motherland until the end.

      Tanzilya Rakova noted that the "Hero's Desk" project plays a special role in preserving historical memory and forming moral guidelines for the younger generation. "Today, such desks are being opened in many schools in Kazan and Tatarstan. Behind each desk is the fate of a person who showed courage, responsibility, and love for the Motherland. For schoolchildren, this is an opportunity to see an example of true heroism every day, to understand that heroes are not just pages in textbooks, but people who studied in these same classrooms, walked these same corridors, and made life plans. Our task is to preserve their memory, pass it on to children, and educate the youth based on examples of duty, honor, and loyalty to their country," she emphasized. In Kazan, at the initiative of the "Young Guard" and with the support of "United Russia," 13 Hero's Desks have been opened.
