A student from Zainsk College won the bronze medal at the national championship "Professionals."
Third place was taken by second-year student Aydar Malikov.
Second-year student Aydar Malikov from Zainsk Polytechnic College represented the Republic of Tatarstan with dignity at the finals of the "Professionals" competition, which took place in the Moscow region, and returned home with a bronze medal. The success is even more significant as Aydar was the youngest participant among all competitors in his competency. According to the results of the draw for 2026, the republic's team was placed in the second stream of competitions, which took place from April 25 to 29. This year, the honor of representing the republic fell to second-year student Aydar Malikov from Zainsk Polytechnic College, who is studying in the specialty "Electric Stations, Networks, and Systems."
The competition task included five complex work modules. Participants had to perform the installation of a heat-shrinkable connecting sleeve on a cable with a cross-linked polyethylene sheath and an end sleeve on a single-core cable, connect to a model of a cable compartment cell, as well as disassemble a span of an overhead line of bare wire with subsequent installation of a SIP line (self-supporting insulated wire). In addition, competitors filled out a work permit for operations in electrical installations up to 1000 V.
Despite the fact that other subjects of the Russian Federation were represented by third and fourth-year students, Aydar, who is in his second year, demonstrated a high level of preparation. In a tough competition, he managed to surpass more experienced opponents and rise to the podium.
The prize was achieved not only thanks to the student's talent but also to the efforts of his mentors. The winner was prepared by certified expert Alexander Tikhonov and expert-mentor Ramilya Vandyka.
Let us remind you that the All-Russian championship movement in professional skills "Professionals" serves as a mechanism for finding talented students studying under secondary vocational education programs for the prompt and effective staffing of various sectors of the economy of the Russian Federation in the process of achieving technological sovereignty and transitioning to technological leadership, as well as popularizing working professions. Large-scale competitions are held with the support of the Ministry of Education of Russia and the Institute for the Development of Vocational Education as part of the federal project "Professionalitet" of the national project "Youth and Children."
