Kazan has entered the top cities in Russia for the quality of medical care.

      Kazan has made it to the list of cities in Russia with the highest quality of medical care. According to the updated quality of life index from the "Develop.RF" platform (in the area of "Strengthening and Protecting Health"), the capital of Tatarstan is among the locations where residents are most satisfied with the level of medical assistance. It is joined by Nalchik, Yakutsk, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Maykop, Penza, and Vladivostok. Experts attribute the leadership of these cities to the active digitization of healthcare. Already, every sixth clinic has implemented electronic medical records with full access for patients to their personal health data. The National Center "Develop.RF" (part of the VEB group) prepares analytical reports on municipalities. In 2025, the calculation methodology was adjusted to account for current national goals. By order of the President of Russia, future monitoring of quality of life will cover 500 cities across the country. "Positive changes arise in a complex manner—from large federal programs to employer initiatives and the activity of citizens themselves," commented the director general of the national center, Andrey Samokhin.
