       In the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan, traffic restrictions and parking zone operations will come into effect on Monday due to the XVII International Economic Forum "Russia – Islamic World: KazanForum."

       According to the press service of the Kazan mayor's office, traffic is planned to be closed starting this evening, May 11, when from 8 PM until 8 PM on May 15, vehicle passage will be completely restricted on one of the key arteries of the historical center of the city – Pushkin Street, from the intersection with Karl Marx Street to Bolshaya Krasnaya Street. During this same time frame, the popular municipal parking lot number 110, located on Karl Marx Street, will also be unavailable. The second phase of restrictions will begin tomorrow: from 8 PM on May 12 until 11:59 PM on May 15, traffic will be completely closed on Hadi Takhtash Street, on its busy section from the highway named after Nursultan Nazarbayev to Tufan Minnullin Street. Another adjacent section of Hadi Takhtash Street, running from Spartakovskaya Street to Marsel Salimzhanov Street, will be requested not to be occupied by vehicles from the evening of May 13 until the evening of May 15. The final phase of traffic restrictions will affect the exit area: from 8 PM on May 14 until almost midnight on May 16, a large parking lot located on Albert Kamaleev Avenue, opposite the central entrance group of the international equestrian sports complex "Kazan," will be completely closed for parking. Earlier, the news agency "Tatar-inform" warned that traffic restrictions in the capital of the republic would also be implemented ahead of the "Russia – ASEAN" summit. As previously specified, the running news ticker at Kazan Kremlin will enter the Book of Records of Russia.
