      Fraudsters have involved an 80-year-old resident of Kazan in a criminal scheme, reports the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan. According to the agency, the pensioner actively used the internet and had previously fallen victim to scammers, transferring them money. Once again falling for the trick of the criminals, the woman agreed to service their SIM box. As stated in the Ministry's message, after the previous incident, she continued to communicate with those who had deceived her before. The scammers promised a "refund" of her money and additional income, offering "work" to install and service the SIM box. In return, they promised her daily payment of 7,000 rubles. The SIM box and SIM cards were received by the pensioner from one of the logistics companies. She placed the device on the windowsill among seedlings in an apartment rented by the fraudsters and visited there daily. It was there that law enforcement detained her.
