KFU entered the TOP-20 best universities in Russia according to Forbes based on employer reputation.

      Kazan Federal University ranked 16th in the Forbes ranking, reflecting employers' trust in the quality of graduates' training. The study was conducted based on a survey of companies from the magazine's list of the best — it involved organizations from 43 industries (from industry to IT, medicine, and finance). 16.9% of respondents trust KFU, and the reputation index was 55%. The top spots were taken by HSE (67%), MSU (63.6%), and Bauman MSTU (58.5%). A total of 20 universities from seven Russian cities made it to the top, including Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Kazan, Novosibirsk, Tomsk, and Vladivostok. Forbes noted that KFU trains specialists in 37 fields (pedagogy, economics, medicine, philology, IT, and others). Previously, the university also ranked 21st in the "Best Universities in Russia - 2026" ranking. Additionally, KFU made it to the top universities according to Interfax in the "Public and Municipal Administration" (PMA) category, taking 11th place. The leaders here are RANEPA, HSE, and MSU. A total of 75 Russian universities participated in this ranking. The assessment was based on the number of accredited programs, publication activity, student participation in Olympiads, and other indicators.
