It is important that here, alongside horses competing in republican and all-Russian competitions, ordinary "working" horses also participate in the races. Their owners, who genuinely love this sport, cheered for the racers and wished them victory. The event took place at the city racetrack. At "Sabantuy-2026," 23 horses and 5 ponies from the Zainsk, Sarman, Tukay, Aznakayev, and Aksubaev districts, as well as from Bashkortostan, participated in equestrian competitions. Host and audience This year, the races were graced by the unique hosting of the famous Tatar pop singer Munir Rakhmaev. He alternated between joking and being serious, urging each participant to finish first. The crowd shared in the emotions. Some were disheartened if their favorite fell behind, while others rejoiced upon seeing the leader. The spectators cheered wholeheartedly. Pony race The ponies were the first to start. The horses participating were named Sapphire, Sabrina, Princess, Orlik, and Dandy. The distance was 200 meters. Three ponies were raised in the "Fedotovo" farm, and two others were from the Tukay district. Dandy (rider Ekaterina Sokolova) took first place. Show jumping Serious competitions took place in show jumping. France is considered the homeland of this sport: show jumping was included in the Olympic program in Paris as early as 1900. Four horses from the "Fedotovo" farm in the Zainsk district participated in the Zainsk Sabantuy: Vypad (rider Ekaterina Savelieva) Khurma (rider Anastasia Kyzikhanova) Mavritanka (rider Anastasia Tukmacheva) Vakhmistr (rider Ekaterina Fadeeva) The horses overcame six obstacles, each one meter high. Vakhmistr took first place for speed and accuracy in completing the tasks. 1200-meter race (thoroughbred two-year-old trotters) The following horses participated: Stoika (owner and rider Fyodor Kondratiev, Sarman district) Solodiviziya (owner Grigory Koronov, Zainsk district, rider Diana Trifonova) Nasikhakuin (owner Yuri Fyodorov, Aksubaev district, rider Eduard Afanasyev) Solodiviziya did not give up the lead. 1600-meter race (thoroughbred three-year-old horses) Participants: Smart (owner Fail Altapov, Bashkortostan, rider Shamil Khudaikov) Kasymkhan (owner Grigory Koronov, Zainsk, rider Aidar Akhiyarov) Sukhar (owner Rayana Gafiyatullina, Tukay district, rider Rifaat Gafiyatullin) Heydi (owner Yuri Fyodorov, Aksubaev district, rider Eduard Afanasyev) Smart was the first to cross the finish line. Race of local entrepreneurs' horses (1600 meters) Participants included: Malysh (owner Grigory Koronov, rider Pyotr Koronov) Graal (owner Mansur Gizdatullin, rider Ansar Gizdatullin) Laska (owner and rider Mansur Gizdatullin)

Final race (mixed breed horses, 1600 meters) Six horses started simultaneously: Gambit (owner and rider Fyodor Kondratiev, Sarman district) Sheikh (owner Grigory Koronov, rider Artyom Krasovsky) Leyla (owner Elvira Gafiyatullina, Tukay district, rider Rifaat Gafiyatullin) Gastrol (owner Mansur Gizdatullin, rider Ansar Gizdatullin) Niron (owner and rider Ramil Gainanov, Aznakayev district) Gordost (owner and rider Yuri Fyodorov, Aksubaev district) In a tense battle, Niron claimed victory. Awards The necks of the horses that placed were adorned with embroidered towels, and the riders and owners of the racers were presented with diplomas and cash certificates. The award ceremony was conducted by distinguished guests of the Zainsk Sabantuy. Conclusion of the holiday The horse races were followed by motorcycle races. The audience held their breath as they continued to watch the stunts of the motorcyclists.
