      The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Russia plans to bring 1.3 million people out of the illegal employment sector by 2026. This was stated in an interview with "Vedomosti" by the Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation, Anton Kotyakov. According to him, the target for legalizing employment for 2025 was 775,000 workers. However, as a result of the work of the commissions, about 1 million people were brought out of the shadow sector. The minister noted positive dynamics in a number of regions, especially in the subjects of the North Caucasus Federal District. If in 2024, 77,600 people with illegal employment were identified there, then in 2025 this figure rose to 103,800.
