Foreigners have a special interest in technology from Tatarstan: what will be showcased at the "Integrated Security" exhibition in Kazan.

      Today, the Organizational Committee for the preparation and holding of the XVI International Salon of Security Equipment "Comprehensive Security - 2026" gathered in the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan. The meeting was attended by the President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia Alexander Kurenkov. This year, the salon, the main exhibition project of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia, is for the first time moving beyond the capital region and will take place in Tatarstan, specifically at "Kazan Expo." The exhibition and business program will be determined by the concept of control over the four elements - fire, earth, air, and water. Topics will include fire safety, emergency response, protection of critical infrastructure, and safety on water bodies. The forum will take place from September 3 to 5, 2026. The exhibition space will be located in pavilions with a total area of 15,000 square meters. "The process of filling the exhibition started in April of this year. A total of 137 applications for participation in the exhibition have been received. Mostly, these are Russian companies from 31 regions. The Republic of Tatarstan is represented by ten companies, including the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations for the Republic of Tatarstan and the Republican Center for Disaster Medicine," said Maxim Denisov, General Director of the Autonomous Non-Profit Organization "Directorate of Sports and Social Projects." According to the organizers' estimates, more than 18,000 people are expected to attend the event. Representatives of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation appealed to Rustam Minnikhanov with a request to increase the accreditation opportunities for those wishing to attend the exhibition. The President of Tatarstan called for strengthening this work and taking into account the wishes of Kazan guests regarding the cultural program. "As part of the salon, a plenary session is planned, as well as 25 discussion events on the most pressing issues of ensuring the safety of the population of our country. Invitations to the event have been sent to 144 countries and 18 international organizations. To date, 52 foreign representatives from 14 countries have expressed a desire to participate," said Roman Kuryanin, Deputy Minister of the Russian Federation for Civil Defense, Emergencies, and Disaster Response. The second Russian-Malaysian exercises according to UN international standards are also planned. Search and rescue teams from both countries will work on issues of joint response to emergencies. The head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations noted that foreign specialists are particularly interested in the equipment used by Russia's emergency services. He reminded that a significant part of it is produced in the Republic of Tatarstan and that it has gained trust worldwide. Therefore, it is important not so much to surprise guests as to show them the opportunities to acquire locally produced rescue helicopters and aircraft at this venue. "We are entering the final stage in preparing for the salon. This requires maximum concentration. It is important not to slow down the pace of work and to respond promptly to any changes," noted Alexander Kurenkov. "We have extensive experience in holding such large-scale events. I am confident that we will complete everything on time. Our task is to make it so that you will ask to hold the forum with us again," added Rustam Minnikhanov.
