In Tatarstan, 27 tons of old equipment were collected in May.
Computers, phones, and refrigerators have been sent for recycling. Among the leading districts are Kazan, Zelenodolsk, and Chistopol.
In the republic, interim results of the project "Recycling School: Electronics" have been summarized. Over the last month of spring, residents of the region handed over 27 tons of outdated household and computer equipment for recycling. For comparison, throughout the previous year, residents of Tatarstan collected 185 tons of electronic waste – this was the result of 314 enterprises and institutions from 32 districts. From January to May 2026, the "weight" of the waste sent for recycling has already reached 86.6 tons. In the last month of spring, 50 organizations joined the initiative. The geography is extensive: Kazan, Zelenodolsky, Alekseevsky, Chistopolsky, Drozhzhanovsky, Kaibitsky, and Buinsky districts.
Almost any electronics can be recycled: from power tools and phones to large household appliances. The algorithm is simple – you need to visit the website eko-fond.ru/electronics/, find the "Participant Registration" form, and fill it out. The service for residents of the republic is completely free.
The program has been operating in Tatarstan since 2022 with the support of the national project "Ecological Well-Being" and continues to gain momentum.
