62 residents of Tatarstan were fined for refusing to allow gas workers to perform maintenance on equipment. This was reported by the State Housing Inspection of the Republic. Specialists from "Gazprom Transgaz Kazan" face difficulties almost daily when conducting scheduled work. Reports were drawn up regarding the cases of refusal and sent to the inspection. Based on these, 62 administrative cases were initiated. Each violator was fined between 5,000 and 9,000 rubles. Among them are 29 residents of Kazan, 20 residents of the Zelenodolsky district, 10 residents of the Verkhneuslonsky district, and four residents of Arsk. For example, a couple from Arsk was fined 7,000 rubles each. In Kazan, a mother and son—owners of an apartment on Chapayev Street—were also fined 7,000 rubles. In the first five months of 2026, the housing inspection received 647 reports of refusal to allow gas workers. Punishments were assigned for 186 of them: one warning and 185 fines totaling 1.1 million rubles.
