One of the most famous foremen of KAMAZ, Shaukat Khusnutdinov, has passed away.
In Naberezhnye Chelny, legendary KAMAZ foreman, Lenin Order recipient Shaukat Khusnutdinov passed away at the age of 77. The farewell will take place today at 12:30 in the morgue of the BSMP in Naberezhnye Chelny. Shaukat Khamitovich was born on August 1, 1949, in the village of Tatarsky Tolkish in the Chistopol district of the TASSR. After graduating from the Chistopol Technical School of Agricultural Mechanization and serving in the Soviet Army, he arrived in 1971 to work on the construction of KAMAZ under a Komsomol ticket. He began his labor activity at the automobile plant in 1973 as an assembly mechanic. For nearly four decades, his work was connected with the main conveyor of the enterprise. In 1976, Khusnutdinov headed a team of assembly mechanics, which later became one of the best at KAMAZ. The Komsomol youth team he created repeatedly won socialist competitions and was awarded honorary titles. The team was one of the first at the enterprise to start working under a comprehensive team plan with the motto "Not a single laggard beside." With the participation of Shaukat Khusnutdinov, about 1.7 million KAMAZ vehicles were assembled over the years he worked on the main conveyor. In addition to his production activities, Khusnutdinov actively participated in public life. He was elected twice as a deputy of the Supreme Soviet of the TASSR, was a delegate to the XVII Congress of Trade Unions of the USSR, and the XIX All-Union Party Conference. For many years of conscientious work and high production performance, Shaukat Khusnutdinov was awarded the "For Labor Distinction" medal, the Order of the Red Banner of Labor, the Order of Lenin, and the title of "Shock Worker of KAMAZ Construction."
Since 1995, he held managerial positions at the automobile plant, and from 2003 to 2009, he headed the cab assembly shop. After retiring, he remained one of the most well-known veterans of the automotive giant. A film titled "I-am among people," produced by the Kazan television studio, was dedicated to Shaukat Khamitovich.
