      In Tatarstan, the results of perinatal care have been summarized: thanks to the IVF procedure, 503 babies were born.

      At the XXI meeting of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan, the director of the Territorial Compulsory Medical Insurance Fund, Alsu Miftakhova, announced encouraging demographic statistics. During the reporting period, 503 children were born in the republic with the help of in vitro fertilization (IVF). These figures are a direct result of state support for families facing infertility.

      The economy of happy motherhood

      Funding for reproductive technologies remains a priority. A total of 309 million rubles was allocated from the compulsory medical insurance funds for IVF procedures. However, an emergency budget correction was required during the process: an additional 40.5 million rubles were allocated from the republic's treasury. These investments are justified: the effectiveness of IVF in Tatarstan remains stable at 34%, which is considered a high indicator in reproductive medicine.

      What else has changed in medicine in Tatarstan?

      In addition to supporting birth rates, the fund reported an increase in spending on palliative care and oncology:

      Hospices. Funding increased by 21%, reaching 538.6 million rubles. Of this, 12 million rubles were urgently directed to the children's hospice "Natasha."

      Oncological care. Expenses rose to 7.3 billion rubles. A quarter of this amount (4 billion) was spent on chemotherapy. The share of modern expensive drugs in cancer treatment increased from 46% to 54%.

      Health screenings. About 9 billion rubles were spent on preventive examinations. It was possible to cover 1.5 million adults and 637 thousand children. Alsu Miftakhova emphasized: a significant portion of the fund's expenses is implemented within the framework of national projects "Family" and "Sustained and Active Life." The success of IVF in Tatarstan shows that state support for fertility works: every third attempt ends with the birth of a child, which means that 503 families have found long-awaited happiness.
