Since the beginning of 2026, traffic to such services has increased by more than 20%, and the time users spend on them has increased by 45%. Compared to May of last year, the figure has grown by almost a quarter. This data was obtained by Yota analysts based on anonymized subscriber data. In Tatarstan, since the beginning of the year, the time residents spend using music and voice neural networks has increased by 53%, while the volume of traffic consumed by them has increased by 23%. Mainly, these technologies are used by users from the republic aged 26 to 35. At the same time, men generate audio content using artificial intelligence 43% more often than women. The popularity of AI music is growing along with interest in neurocovers—covers of well-known songs sung by synthesized voices of different artists. The main audience of music neural networks is Russians aged 26-45: they account for about half of all traffic and usage time. About 20% of the activity is provided by users aged 46-55. However, the most noticeable growth in engagement is demonstrated by Russians over 56 years old. Despite a relatively small share of traffic (14%), in spring 2026, they spent 38% more time in music services than a year earlier, and in May, the growth was over 150% year-on-year. Young people aged 14-25 occupy a relatively small share of traffic (11%) and usage time (7%), but they are the ones who more often set viral trends.
